Climbing to new heights together

Welcome

A very warm welcome to Whitesheet CE Primary Academy!

Set in the idyllic Wiltshire countryside, in an area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty', Whitesheet Academy is a small school, with a big heart.

A very warm welcome to Whitesheet CE Primary Academy.

Thank you for your interest in our school. We hope that you will find our website both interesting and informative, as well as giving a taste for what is important to us at our school.

At Whitesheet we believe that is it vital that each child understands how special, unique, and valued they are and is able to live out our vision: climbing to new heights together. We are all passionately committed to giving all the children in our care, access to a rich and engaging curriculum, that is designed to provide the best possible opportunities to experience success, and to help develop life-long learners.

Whitesheet is very special family, where every child is valued and we work together with parents, carers and the wider community to ensure that each child has the opportunity to flourish socially, academically and emotionally. Children achieve when they are inspired and motivated, and we support this philosophy by providing a wide and balanced range of activities within a caring and secure learning environment.

We are exceptionally lucky to be able to offer our children access to:

  • A Forest School site, with lots of opportunities for camp fires, hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows!

  • Newly installed outdoor play and sports equipment.  The children of all ages love this and use it to develop both their physical development and creative play.

  • A heated outdoor swimming pool.  The children use this regularly across the summer term for swimming lessons - it is also available for families to use at weekends and during the summer holiday period.

  • A beautiful secret garden, which is being developed to include; a restocked pond area, herb garden, raised vegetable beds and fruit trees.  We will also be adding wooden tee-pees for the children to use for quiet reflection and contemplation.

You are warmly welcome to make a personal visit to our school to see how we work and experience our ethos.  If you would like to take the opportunity to do so, then please contact the school to arrange a time when I can show you around.

I look forward to meeting with you and your children.
