    Dear Whitesheet Families,

The remainder of this week and into next week is looking unusually hot!

Please send pupils with named sun hats and lotion. We will give them time before break, lunch and before swimming to top it up. They may also bring additional water.

If your child is prone to catching the sun and you want them to wear a thin top under their uniform while it is scorching then they may.

    Stay safe in the sun!

  • Parent Survey

Fri 12 Mar 2021 Mrs Smart

    Dear Parents,

As the Local Governors of Whitesheet Academy, we are writing to you as we are aware that there are concerns among some parents about the arrangements for teaching in school in the summer term and beyond. We greatly value your support as parents and invite you to help us by completing this questionnaire below.

    https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=hlbZuNBmU0-_LuNtoIaqtpHmL01PqyVBhbthgTfBPTFUOEJJU0k2N0ZYQkhOTjVPUjE5NlVPREpBOS4u

We will carefully analyse the results and inform you through the website. As a group of governors, we are continuing to support the ongoing improvement and future of the school, and we greatly value your help in this.

This questionnaire is based on the OFSTED parents questionnaire and has shown to be reliable and valuable to schools.

Please complete this by 19th March 2021.

    With thanks for your help,

    Yours faithfully,

Margaret Martin - Chair of Governors

    Rev'd Ben Rundell-Evans - Parish Priest

On behalf of the Local Governors

  • Hooray it's Thursday

Thu 11 Feb 2021 Mrs Mullord

    Happy Thursday, Team Whitesheet!

I hope you are all feeling happy and healthy today.

We are looking forward to seeing you in worship tomorrow morning and to seeing all your learning about Chinese New Year. Not only is it a lovely way to end the term but it is a sure reminder that Spring is on its way - lighter evenings, beautiful flowers, new lambs bounding around the fields and with all that a sense of hope in the air!

Just in case you haven't seen it, here is a link to a worship from Mr Lacey, our DSAT CEO for you to enjoy: https://diocese-of-salisbury-academy-trust.primarysite.media/media/collective-worship-february-2021

Also, following on from yesterday's email about staffing, Mrs Higgins and I would like to invite to a virtual parent drop-in on Tuesday 23rd February @ 3:30pm which you will be able to access via your child's MS Teams account. We thought it would be a good opportunity to see you 'in person', put some faces to names and share any further queries you may have. We really hope you are able to make it and look forward to seeing you there. I have included the link here but you can also join via the calendar: Click here to join the meeting

In the meantime, one day to go before the half term break - never has it been more deserved!

With our thanks for your continuous support,

    Emily Mullord

    Headteacher

    Shrewton CE Primary School

  • Change to payments for Craft Day

Change to payments for Craft Day:

The Friends of Whitesheet, have very kindly offered to cover the cost of Craft Day - we therefore do not require any contributions from parents or carers. We would like to say a massive thank you to friends for this generous offer!
